The Joys of Being a Work At Home Mom

The joys of being a work at home mom can definately have their ups and downs lol. This week has not been a good week for me unfortunately.

Between children with colds and feeling miserable, to losing my car keys (found them in my dh's coat pocket), to having the toilet overflow, this week has been a challenge to say the least.

Do I mind? Well kinda, because my customers and site visitors are extremely important to me, and I don't want to let anyone down. But, my family comes first and foremost. I'm a computer-aholic and usually spend way too much time with my fingers glued to my keyboard. Now if I was getting paid for all of my time here, that would be one story. The bottom line however is that I'm not.

Most of my time here is spent networking and meeting others that are either interested in working from home, those that have just started their home business and aren't really sure what to do next - how to increase their sales and make those valuable contacts, and finally I network a lot with other successful business owners. If there is one tiny bit of advice that I can give to anyone that will help them, then that just makes my day, and also makes being here worthwhile.

I've also been dealing with a few website challenges lately. A lady that had signed up for my affiliate program was having difficulties with it, and in trying to assist her I discovered that my whole affiliate program wasn't working. Several pages were erroring out completely! It had probably been this way since I changed to my new server several months ago unfortunately. So, after trying to fix it, I've pretty much given up hope and have started setting up a brand new program. More information about our new Affiliates program will be announced soon!

There are several other things in the works too.. but I'll put those in their own posts.
